Mimis, Wills, Una Mas – Merivale

A design collaboration of ACME working together with the Merivale team, with Transmitt shaping the lighting narrative through custom-designed luminaires and select refined pieces from our collection – handcrafted in Australia.

Following previous projects with Merivale across flagship restaurants including Bert’s in Newport and Paddington’s Fred’s. Mimi’s; Will’s and Una Más at Coogee Pavillion provided an opportunity to reimagine three diverse and inherently connected venues.

With expansive arched windows drawing in abundant natural light and uninterrupted ocean views, the role of lighting was not to compete, but to quietly elevate.

Each piece is considered, tactile and intentionally understated, allowing light to shape the experience rather than dominate it. Transmitt’s bespoke luminaires introduce a sense of warmth and material richness – soft linen shades diffusing light with ease, aged brass adding subtle lustre, and Murano glass lending a gentle sculptural presence.

The result is a cohesive lighting language across three distinct venues – where craft, materiality and mood come together to enhance the rhythm of coastal dining.
